Lock & Hide Folders Using Windows Command Prompt

Capture

Step 1: Create a folder that is to be protected. (example: myth)

Step 2: Move all the required files into the folder.

Step 3: Open Command Prompt from Start>RUN then type in ‘cmd’

Step 4: Now type carefully: attrib +s +h E:myth

(Here “E:myth” is the location and the name of the folder.)

Press ENTER. You are Done! No one will able to see that folder anymore even if we select to show hidden files and folders option in Windows .

To Open The Locked Folder type this:

attrib -s -h E:myth
